Upcycled Tree Decorations plus More News

I recently went to Al la Ronde National Trust property, Exmouth in Devon and they have this wonderful display of upcycled tree decorations made out of plastic bottles. Girl Guides, Brownies and Rainbows created these flowers.

They look great in the sunlight and I thought a creative way of reusing plastic waste. A good craft project too, maybe making Christmas tree decorations!

The property is fascinating as well.

My Mirrors and Light poetry ebook has now been released, also available as a paperback. Like my other books you can download it on Amazon and it’s free with kindle unlimited. Please do spread the word so more children can read it and be inspired by science.

A date for your diary-

Admittedly this is only for people who live locally but I’m doing a craft/book fair in my local library. St.Thomas library in Exeter sadly had to relocate a few years ago for a pound store, I don’t understand planners sometimes! It has smaller premises now but is still very popular with lots of community activities.

So on November 16th 2.30-4.30pm there is a Christmas fair with local crafts and books for sale. I haven’t done any fairs for a while but I should be able to manage this being only 2 hours and local, perfect! I will take a selection of glass paintings and my new children’s poetry books. These I’ll be able to sign, so it’ll be like my first book signing, exciting!
